Bin Sizes & Prices – Choosing the Right Size Bin?
We realise that it can be difficult to visualise the difference between various bin sizes, so we have put together the ‘Bin Sizes & Prices’ comparison table (below) to help you choose the right bin for your rubbish removal job. Our range of skips and bins is second to none, so we are confident that we can match the right size bin for your rubbish removal needs.
Sometimes customers have a LARGE amount of LIGHT waste so that we can quote a special price with a lower disposal weight allowance on a larger bin. Call our office to discuss this if you have a lot of light bulky waste to dispose of.
If you need more information after looking at the ‘Bin Sizes & Prices’ table, please feel free to ring us on 3821 4033.

For the larger Big Bins 20m, 25m & 30m, weight limits are calculated in the pricing of bins. Where the material in the bin does not reach the allowance a discount/rebate may be available. For loads that exceed the allowance, an additional disposal fee will be charged.
It’s often difficult to explain all the variables about Bin Sizes & Prices, weights, locations etc., so if we haven’t answered all your questions, please contact our office for further information.
- Due to the limited disposal options and higher disposal fees, heavy loads may incur an additional charge for some locations.
- The cost of Excess Weight over allowance is $240 per tonne, depending on the waste type.
- Maximum Weights – On all Big Bins is 10 tonnes of waste (lifted off the level ground)
If you place heavy items in a bin, please be aware that larger containers have weight restrictions. It is difficult to explain all the variables that impact how much weight or heavy materials can be loaded into a bin. A bin is overfull when it can no longer be lifted or carried legally or safely. In addition, road rules, design, carrying and lifting capacity limitations and general safety impose certain restrictions we must follow to transport bins safely.
What if I have a large number of Heavy items?
If you need to dispose of these items, you must discuss this with our office. If unsure, contact our office or visit our FAQ Page or Guidelines for Heavy Materials to read more.
How much rubbish can go onto a trailer depends on how high you are willing to pack it without overloading it or making the load unsafe. If you are unsure or require additional information on the sizes or capacity of bins, please get in touch with our office.
Please Note: Bin dimensions are a near as possible guide as some differences exist when bins are manufactured, repaired or re-floored.
